Creative Learning Solutions’ recruitment courses aim to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently and effectively recruit the right staff.   • Our recruitment courses will cover the use of job descriptions and candidate specifications when creating a vacancy for a role that needs filling.
  • You will look at attracting the right candidate, and how recruitment sources and advertising in the right places affects this.
  • You will cover writing job advertisements that effectively convey the attributes and skills needed for specific roles.
  • You will explore handling both the positive and negative response you should take when you receive applications for your vacancy.

The interview

  • Our recruitment courses will focus on how best to plan and structure the recruitment interview.
  • You will learn how to use certain question techniques that allow you to effectively assess a candidate’s ability.
  • You will look at the use of selection tests and different forms of assessment.
  • You will cover the use of a recruitment checklist when conducting interviews.
  • Your interview skills will be tested through practice role-plays and scenarios.
