TIM RIPPER MIH MBILD – Learning & Development Director

Tim has worked for national training companies for over thirty years both nationally and internationally within the hospitality, travel and pharmaceutical industries as well as public sector organisations including the NHS. He is a very experienced trainer and a licensed tutor for People 1st (formally known as Stonebow) and delivers a range of internationally recognised training programmes to all levels from supervisors up to Directors and CEO’s.

Tim is a member of the Institute of Hospitality and The British Institute of Learning & Development as well as a CIEH Advanced Food Hygiene and Health and Safety trainer.

His specialisms include Train the Trainer and Customer Care but he has a special interest in E-learning having developed a range of award winning interactive programmes.

Tim brings a wealth of experience and a great amount of energy and enthusiasm to his training courses and believes that training should be relevant, challenging and fun and all the skills learned can be easily transferred to the workplace.

By enabling people to develop their skills and confidence he believes they are able to manage themselves and others more effectively.

KATHRYN RIPPER – Managing Director

Kathryn is an experienced Project Manager within the eLearning sector. Her professional career spans management roles within the manufacturing, hospitality and medical sectors.

Kathryn is an experienced learning content designer with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. She manages a team of developers creating engaging, innovative and memorable learning solutions that have a direct correlation with operational KPIs. All the courses are carefully designed with both the learners and managers in mind.

CLIVE WALLEN MSC – Senior Health & Safety Consultant

Clive has worked in the field of public health for over 30 years and has gained a huge amount of experience in many sectors.

He specializes in auditing to strict food safety, health and safety and environmental management standards including the establishment of systems of control for businesses to meet legal and client requirements.

JANE STUBBERFIELD MBA PhD FCIPD – Training Consultant and Coach

Jane has over thirty years experience as a trainer and coach.  As a trainer she is skilled in developing programmes focused on meeting the needs of each delegate. Her training is delivered in a challenging, encouraging and supportive way with highly interactive workshops. She brings creativity and passion to every training programme so that her delegates can maximize your learning.

Jane has a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD). She is also a member of the Institute of Hospitality (MIH) and a Master Practitioner of NLP and an Internationally Accredited Trainer of NLP and Coach.

NEIL FARNWORTH – Business Development Manager

Neil is a dynamic trainer and business consultant with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for business development. His energetic, yet diplomatic style engages clients to achieve first class business results. Having worked in a wide range of industries, in both the public and private sectors, he is able to draw on real life scenarios when discussing issues with course delegates.

Neil specialises in Sales and Management training and coaching and is a Member of the Institute of Business Advisers and the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MICPD).

RICHARD HOVEY MBA BSc (Eng) – Training Consultant

Richard has over 30 years experience in business with Plc’s, SME’s and not-for-profit organisations, which includes IT, sales & marketing, and general management. He is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Business Consulting and is an experienced business coach developing leaders and supporting the needs of CEOs and directors of smaller organisations. His special interests lie in coaching newly promoted directors to help develop their own authentic leadership style and to develop new skills in strategy, communication, and delegation.

Richard values uniqueness and tailors his approach to the individuality of his clients. Underlying all Richard’s work is the belief that when people reflect on their experience and understand themselves – their personality, strengths, and ways of communicating –this transforms the way that they live and work as well as building the organisations that they are part of. “To do new things we need to see in fresh ways.”

JO ALCOCK – Training Consultant

Jo is a food technology expert and has worked in the food industry for a number of years as a New Product Development Manager. Her enthusiasm and lifelong love of cooking are evident in her training, which is fun, informative and inspirational.

She currently runs the Royal Society for Public Health and Chartered Institute for Environmental Health Nutrition qualifications from level 1 to level 4 (Diploma).

She was also a finalist in The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) Best Trainer Award in 2008
